I have filled out the easy application form to request a free one-tonne salt bag, it was quite straightforward and completed in minutes. Having this sort of facility as we enter the winter season is a great help for the community and contributes to the safety of our roads and neighbourhoods.
When the council has many priorities to keep high-traffic roads clear in adverse weather conditions it is a great option to benefit from the winter community self-help scheme. It allows us to treat our streets and surrounding footpaths when they cannot be attended to for several days. It is a great service provided for winter safety for all of us and I am proud to be a resident of Aberdeen City Council.
Yes Vincent I think our council is one of the few providing this service and as a resident living in a quiet location we will be applying too for getting it on time before the winter hits hard, road services work really hard to make it safer for us to drive and continue our lives during winter so as a community we can all benefit from this service, I agree with your rating, 5 stars to our council Aberdeen City.
