South Worcestershire Development plan for 13,240 additional new homes and 290.7 hectares of new employment land!
This is a great development plan and is expected to be completed by 2041, majority of the homes will be built in growth sites at Worcestershire Parkway, Throckmorton, Rushwick and Mitton. There is also a consultation that the council holds if any resident has anything to oppose the plan, in my opinion, the direction we are heading is to have a better future, create jobs and economic prosperity, and renewed homes for our residents in local housing. Most of the affordable new housing will be located close to existing or new railway links, providing green spaces to meet the future requirements of the future population. Great work to achieve a sustainable future and I was really impressed with the scheme involving electric car charging points in the new development.
