On 07.01.2025 I tripped over a raised paving slab in Martin Square at approximately 7.15-7.25 pm. At the time the majority of the street lighting in the car park/shop area was not working and made the area very dark, making it very difficult to see any change in levels of the pavement and indeed the curbing in the car park itself.
I have damaged my left knee, my right thumb and my wristwatch strap was wrenched apart, which will require repair.
I have attached photographs of my left knee, right thumb and wristwatch, together with the pavement from a couple of angles. From the photographs of the pavement it can be seen that the slab has moved up from level by approximately 1/2 to 1 inch.
